Aldea (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of the families and providers who use our platform. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Intake information: details you share when requesting a match.
- Account information: name, email, phone, password.
- Provider information: license number, credentials, references.
- Usage data: standard analytics and security logs.
How we use it
- To match families with providers and verify benefits.
- To credential and monitor providers.
- To communicate appointment and product updates.
- To improve the platform and prevent abuse.
Health information
Where we handle PHI, we do so under HIPAA-compliant business-associate agreements. Screener results live only in your browser unless you share them with a provider.
Sharing
We share information only with providers you connect with, payment processors, benefits-verification services, and law enforcement when legally required. We never sell your information.
Your rights
Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@youraldea.com.
Children
Aldea serves families on behalf of minor children. Accounts are held by a parent or legal guardian.
